The Faculty of Pharmacy, UiTM, Malaysia, co-jointly with Universitas Indonesia and JOSAI University, Japan is pleased to announce the 1st International Conference of Nutraceutical and Cosmetic Sciences (ICNaCS 2012) that will be held on 22nd – 23rd October 2012 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. The theme for the inaugural event is “Evidence-based practice: pharmaceutical aspects underlying health and beauty”, selected to promote and encourage evidence-based practice in nutraceutical and cosmetics application.
The objectives of the conference are:

- Gathering evidence gained from scientific methods for practice
-Establishing linkage among scientists/researchers/practitioners/manufacturers in the fields of nutraceutical and cosmetics sciences
- Updating current discoveries and challenges
- Encouraging translational research
