The Art of Crystallization Development – From Screening to a Stable Crystallization Process

Webinar Description:
The aim of a crystallization process is to produce the optimal solid form with all desired properties such as particle size, particle shape, bulk density, purity, yield, residual solvent content etc. In order to reach this goal many steps need to precede the crystallization development. The seminar will describe the steps involved in achieving an optimized crystallization process.

Learning Objectives:
Identifying and characterizing the optimal salt or co-crystal In a salt and/or co-crystal screening process.
Conducting an effective polymorph or solvate screening to identify all relevant forms, characterizing and determining their thermodynamic relationships.
Selecting the optimal form, developing a small scale crystallization process, optimizing purity, yield, speed, and particle size distribution.
Scaling up the process in a kilo-lab, followed by production on a kg-scale in a GMP-facility.
Assuring accurate and rapid communication and efficient know-how transfer.
