This year’s conference theme – “Where the World Comes Together” – simply states a fact: IAM’s conference is unparalleled in that it draws together in one place nearly 2,000 attendees, representing 2,400 member companies located in over 170 countries around the world. It is an awesome scene as people from disparate cultures and countries come together seamlessly to participate in membership meetings and education sessions, sit down together in one-on-one meetings, work business deals over a shared lunch in the expo, and visit over 100 exhibitors to learn what is new in technology or packaging or customs brokerage.
