World Architecture Festival

Location: Marina Bay Sands Resort / Singapore / Singapore
Category: Conferences & Trade Fairs

The World Architecture Festival (WAF), the world’s largest, live, inclusive and interactive global architecture event, is returning for its seventh successive year. The festival will once again be taking place at the spectacular Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore from 1-3 October 2014.

The WAF Awards sit at the heart of the festival, and will see practices from around the world compete across 30 individual award categories for global recognition. Every shortlisted architect will present their award entry in front of WAF's illustrious international judging panels, and you can see as many as you can fit in to three days! Hear the inside story on over 300 projects, from schools to cinemas, museums to mosques. Plus find out what the WAF judges think of all finalist schemes, including yours. This year’s judges include Rocco Yim, Julie Eizenberg, Enric Ruiz Geli and Peter Rich.

WAF's 2014 seminar programme ‘Architects and the City’ is the only place to hear more than 90 speakers including Richard Rogers (Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners), Moshe Safdie (Safdie Architects), Thomas Wright (New York Regional Planning Association) and Saskia Sassen (Committee on Global thought, Columbia University) share their ideas on the challenges of urban environments. Expect to be challenged, educated and surprised.

World Architecture Festival is collocated with INSIDE World Festival of Interiors www.insidefestival.com. INSIDE celebrates the world’s finest interiors of the last year.

Seize the unique opportunity that WAF provides to meet your peers, clients, press and suppliers from around the world. Strengthen your understanding, your work, your contacts and your future prospects.
