Overview

As the shipping industry continues to have a highly focus on vessel and offshore exploration and production activities, and as well as well-designed ships often become poorly executed shipbuilding projects due to lack of a comprehensive strategy, there is an increasing focus to help the various parties on such challenges, as conflicts among these stakeholders and failure to employ best practices can cause delays in the project, causing its failure to reach important goals of delivering the rigs/ships on time, within budget and fulfilling technical requirements.
This 5-day highly interactive and practical course will help teams that are involved in such shipbuilding projects to improve their management practices within the shipyard or with vendors, to meet their targets in respect of contracting, delivery of the units or ships in planned time and without problems. It will also focus on best practice technical and commercial solutions during the project to the operational performance of the units to help the commissioning team of engineers representing the owners, shipyard or vendors, to check the construction, outstanding work and the operational performance of the unit.
