Building a career as a woman in the mining industry is difficult but not impossible. while research has shown that South Africa’s mining industry ranks tops for gender diversity in the boardroom, there’s still more that needs to be done for women in mining to make their mark.

The conference will include discussions on key strategies relating to building your career within the mining sector, what it takes to get women into critical executive positions, and fighting the different levels of gender, race and disability discrimination.

The facilitation of 3 practical workshops will assist in the technical and leadership development for all women in attendance and will assist in changing the perception of women in mining.
