Summer School in London 2015


The Global Thinking Summer School will convene in the City of London and will be an intensive week of examining topics of relevance to world leaders and the Club of Rome in a professional environment simulating the expectations and standards of a high-level job in policy.

Delegates will be able to build an excellent employable set of skills to help with securing degree relevant jobs after graduation. Including how to write and present a briefing paper for an MP, Congresswoman or CEO; How to present your findings and research to a boardroom of executives; How to do policy relevant research within only a few hours. Media training, giving speeches on camera and to audiences, debating and diplomacy skills.

The topics of the conference will cover include: An Introduction to the thinking of the Club of Rome; How the World Economy Works as seen from the top; Future Resource Wars: International Security & Great Power Geopolitics in the 21st Century; The Future of Humanity: The World of 2052 - According to the Club of Rome; High-level session on How Global Governance Really Works; President Gorbachev's New Thinking for a New Grammar of International Relations. Collapse or abundance in an interdependent world. Delegates will have the opportunity to give speeches to the conference on a global issue of their choice and some may be selected to join our International Fellowship- a private society who attend our invitation only conferences for stakeholders and diplomats.

The Summer School conference will end with a session on "How to get a Job in Politics, the City of London and the International Corporate sector-What you need to know to get ahead in the real world. Anyone may apply and there are discounts available for young people and students.
