Ofsted are looking for evidence that planned learning intentions are genuinely musical and that Musical sound should be the ‘target’ language of the music classroom.

This course will, through a mixture of presentation, activity, guided and open discussions explore four key questions: Why we need assessment, what are we assessing, what forms of assessment are beneficial for Music, what impact does the current Ofsted observation criteria have on teaching in the Music classroom.
