FASHION FOR A CAUSE:ATL
2015 Spring/Summer Showcase
Throughout the last six months the students of The Young Belle Project, Inc. and RMRSI have been participating in hands on instruction in learning how to create mood boards, sketches, custom illustrations and different design techniques. They have been working diligently to understand and execute the concepts demonstrated to them every Saturday.
The last theme of Empower University is “Self Expression”, where we aim to develop young women who are confident in their unique self. In our Spring/Summer ’15 Fashion For A Cause Showcase, we will present the designs created by our Young Belle’s alongside some of Atlanta’s Exclusive Designers. Through these collaborations our girls will truly feel and understand the meaning of hard work leading to some incredible rewards.

Event Benefits

RMRSI & YPB provide FREE afterschool, S.T.E.A.M, mentoring programs, and summer camps in low income communities within metropolitan Atlanta, GA. These programs are essential for working parents during afterschool hours and summer months when parents do not have adequate resources to pay for care. Our programs not only provide a safe haven for children living in at-risk communities, but also measure increases in social, etiquette and education areas. These programs serve as a creative way to keep children engaged in learning during “at-risk” times while providing them with “out of the box” experiences. Together we can truly make a difference.
