6th Argus Middle East Gulf and Indian Ocean Oil Products Conference

Date: 27-Oct-15 to 28-Oct-15
Location: Jumeirah Emirates Towers / Dubai / United Arab Emirates
Category: Energy Conferences & Trade Fairs

Our 6th Argus Middle East and Indian Ocean Oil Products conference will provide a platform for industry experts to come together to discuss and debate the key issues facing the supply and demand and logistics of petroleum product supply in the region. Once of the main challenges is identifying demand for the surplus of oil products particularly ULSD from the new regional mega refineries.

With the closures of refineries there is demand in Europe however there is also competing supply from the US and Russia - How do traders in this region compete? How are product flows impacted by the volatility in freight rates and what are the future trends for freight rates over the next 18 months? What financing facilities are open to smaller trading houses? What are the margins to be had in selling into East Africa?

The conference will be a hub for leading representatives from the regional National Oil Companies, the major trading houses, smaller regional traders, operators, East African importers and finance houses focused on trade finance to examine the most pressing issues related to selling oil products within and outside the region, financing opportunities, availability of storage facilities, and real versus perceived demand along the Indian Ocean coastline.
