Excelling at School Inspections - Driving Standards in Schools

Date: 17-Nov-15 to 17-Nov-15
Location: etc. Venues / United Kingdom
Category: Education

Raising and maintaining standards is a top priority for school leaders. With a new Ofsted inspection framework being implemented from September 2015, with shorter and more rigorous inspections, head teachers and school leaders must ensure that their school is inspection ready at all times, not only to achieve a high inspection rating, but also to maintain it.

To achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating in an inspection, it is imperative that academies and schools implement a clear strategic plan, incorporating long-term solutions to guarantee improvement and using assessments and other data to continuously self-evaluate the school’s performance.

On this practical Excelling at School Inspections course, led by former HMI Frank Knowles, delegates from schools and academies will prepare to prosper in the demanding and ever-evolving inspections environment. Delegates will leave the day with an action plan to ensure their school is always inspection ready.
