Kaplan Altior are a leading provider of skills training and assessments for the legal profession throughout the UK. We offer training programmes nationally and count over 20 of the Top 100 law firms among our clients.

We have been providing the Professional Skills Course (PSC) to trainee solicitors for over 20 years and were the first provider to be accredited by the Law Society. Since then we have helped thousands of trainees to qualify into the profession.

Our PSC programme moves away from the traditional lecture-style approach to training and instead we focus on the course being practical, inclusive and relevant.

The course is made up of 3 core modules:
1. Client Care and Professional Standards (2 days 24 and 25 November 2015)
2. Advocacy and Communication Skills ( 3 days 8, 9 and 10th December 2015)
3. Financial and Business Skills (3 days including examination - 26, 27 and 30 November)

In addition, you will need to complete 24 hours of electives, 12 hours of which will need to be face to face. We can also offer a package deal for core modules and electives booked at the same time.

We've worked hard to keep our course at the forefront of legal training and here are a few reasons why you should book your PSC with Kaplan Altior:

- City centre location in London with great access
- Expert trainers who are all experienced solicitors and solicitor advocates
- Wide and varied range of electives to choose from
- 99% pass rate for our Financial and Business Skills exam
- Dedicated PSC team to support you through your booking and preparation
- Smaller teaching numbers to ensure you get the best experience
- Our course covers the SRA recommended syllabus but focuses on practical skills by using real-life case studies and role play

Kaplan Altior can also offer an in-house tailored Professional Skills Course for your firm. For trainees from a commercial firm you can also add the Trainee Litigation Programme to your package.
