Liquid Learning is delighted to present New Zealand’s 2nd Women in Engineering Leadership Summit 2015. A unique professional development event offering networking opportunities, inspirational
stories and practical advice from the industries’ established leaders. The summit will provide existing and emerging female leaders with practical strategies and the tools for leadership success in the complex and evolving engineering profession.
Women continue to be under-represented in the engineering profession causing considerable impact to the economy and New Zealand’s international competitiveness and innovation. A multitude of diverse factors contribute to this severe gender disparity in the sector with a variety of issues impacting women’s entry into and success in the industry. Organisations however are slowly starting to realise the impact that gender inequality has on their business with studies consistently demonstrating the positive correlation between organisational diversity and financial performance.
The Women in Engineering Leadership Summit 2015 will address the unique challenges that face women in the engineering profession and provide practical and proven strategies to overcome them to facilitate leadership success.
