A B2B platform aimed at positioning South Africa as a Sports and Events Tourism Destination

The annual Sports and Events Tourism Exchange, now in its fifth year, is the only event of its kind in Southern Africa and provides a platform that brings together businesses from the sports, events and tourism industries. SETE encourages collaboration between these sectors over a two-day conference, two-day table top exhibition and networking events.

SETE 2015 will see new and exciting changes. Sports and Events Tourism Exchange has a new home for the next 3 years, the City of Tshwane. A new exhibition format, the by invitation–only Table Top Exhibit which will be more affordable and efficient while focusing more on important Buyer & Exhibitor Meetings and concluding business deals. Lastly a new Key Focus for the Conference, Golf Tourism, which is one of the important Tourism sectors that can help South Africa grow it Sports and Events Tourism.

The Sports and Events Tourism Exchange will again host an International Hosted Buyers Programme giving International Hosted Buyers the opportunity to visit South Africa and interact with South African Products, Services and Stakeholders in the Sports and Events Tourism Industries.
