Following the introduction of the Care Act, services with adult safeguarding responsibilities must engage with the challenges of the new safeguarding landscape.
Working with the chair, Sarah Mitchell from the Local Government Association (LGA), delegates will explore how to maximise the effectiveness of adult safeguarding boards, enhance quality in adult services and ensure a personalised approach for vulnerable individuals. Those in attendance will examine case examples and discuss how to overcome the difficulties they face in the area of adult safeguarding.
