The Second Chapter

An evening of short talks, refreshments and lively entertainment!

At kooB we do networking with a difference; picture a TED Talk where everybody talks (with books!).

Why books? Because everybody knows interesting people read books!

The idea is to promote potential clients, employees and investors through collective interest in books. It's a great place to build relationships based on mutual interests.

Our unique conversation piece offers an experience like no other networking event on the market. For the introverts kooB is simply networking for people who hate networking. For the extroverts we flip the hate for love!

Space is limited so book early to avoid disappointment. See you there and bring a book!

The Event:
The Artist: Mark Shayler has been changing the way companies work since 1987. Tinkering, disrupting, and making them better (mostly). He has helped around 1000 businesses and saved them in excess of £120 million, launched new products and spun-out start-ups. He is a founding partner of the Do Lectures and author of “Do Disrupt”.  More details to follow.

Agenda:
6:30pm - Doors open; arrivals and deposit books.
7:00pm - kooB; opening, food and drinks [NB. Doors close]
8:00pm - Meet the Artist; keynote and Q&A.
8:25pm - Close; business card raffle and book collection.
8:55pm - After-drinks

Our ‘Meet the Artist’ short talks are focused on promoting budding talents to the forefront of a wider audience, through pragmatic and action-oriented talks on everything from branding your start-up to building an incredibly creative career.

How to kooB:
KooB is based on a highly flexible and versatile algorithm (trialled and tested) which uses colours to accurately mix and match your books. So you’ll only get a new book if your colours are new!

All books are displayed for all to see and explore!

Rules: The rules are simple: swap a colour with every person you meet - no identical colours should be collected.
