The 2015 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Clinical & Research Conference is the “can’t miss” event for healthcare professionals and researchers who study and manage patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).The conference offers workshops, a four-track format designed for clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, nurses, and pediatric gastroenterologists.
“As the rate of people with IBD increases worldwide, we are keeping up with the increasing needs that healthcare providers have,” said conference Co-chair, Dr. Richard MacDermott, MD. “Our 2 ½ day meeting in December will cover all of the important approaches to both the basic and the advanced care of the IBD patient, as well as recent advances in cutting edge clinical research.”
Taking place in Orlando, Florida on December 10-12, 2015, this activity is intended for gastroenterologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, IBD sub-specialists, internists, gastroenterology nurses, gastroenterology mid-level providers, gastrointestinal surgeons, clinical researchers, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with inflammatory bowel diseases.
This conference is endorsed by American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG), and provides continuing medical education for physicians, nurses, and physician assistants.
Co-chaired by Richard MacDermott, MD, and Stephen Hanauer, MD, the faculty is comprised of 60 expert specialists who will lead the sessions and interact with conference attendees.
