Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Review in Bahrain Course will provide the cardiologist and internist with an overview of all aspects of cardiovascular medicine. Well-known experts in each field will give in-depth, engaging lectures on state-of-the-art subjects in cardiovascular medicine along with the latest knowledge and advances in cardiovascular medicine. Topics discussed will be coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, vascular disease, and heart failure. Special sessions are incorporated focused on echo imaging and self knowledge assessment. This review is comprehensive and designed specifically to prepare attendees for their clinical cardiology daily practice.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
1. Interpret common ECG and EP tracings.
2. Assess and manage patients with valvular heart disease
3. Interpret echocardiographic images.
4. Summarize hemodynamic catheterization tracings.
5. Apply basic cardiovascular physiology to patient care.
6. Describe diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute coronary syndromes
7. Identify heart failure and differentiate treatment for advanced heart failure
