The scope of the program is comprehensive and will cover prevention, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and heart rhythm disorders. A MOC session for ABIM Recertification will be offered. Expert faculty will present evidence-based and practical clinical approaches to diagnosis and treatment. A case-based format with audience response interaction and ample time for discussion is planned.
MOC SESSION
A special session has been added to Thursday, February 25 for the General Cardiology Knowledge module. The content will enhance the competence and clinical judgment in the area of cardiology. If you are certified in a specialty and enrolled in ABIM’s MOC program, you are required to earn a combined 100 points in medical knowledge and practice improvement during your 10 year certificate period. This is designed to help you with this process by providing 10 points in medical knowledge.
