Kizomba: The term "Kizomba" comes from the linguistic expression Kimbundo, which means "party". Kizomba as a dance was born in the 80's in Luanda (Angola), after major musical influences from Zouk (Antilles) and has its origin on Semba, a popular Angolan music style. On this basis, Kizomba music emerged as a more modern music genre with a sensual touch mixed with African rhythm. In the 90's merged Tarraxinha a dance genre most popular with the younger generation. The moves are more sensual and a closer embrace, often danced to Ghetto Zouk.
