Spend a day “immersed” in the world of Scotch whisky with The Scotch Whisky Training School at Edinburgh centre of whisky excellence, The Scotch Whisky Experience. You’ll gain the only “Certificate of Expertise” recognised by the Scotch whisky industry. The course is ideal for whisky enthusiasts, and hospitality, licensed retail, and whisky tourism professionals.
A mixture of hands on activities and different learning styles are covered to make the day entertaining and fun as well as highly educational and informative.
The training will impart an advanced level of whisky knowledge that will enable enthusiasts to speak with authority, and professionals to sell and upsell with confidence. The extensive training materials used on the day are yours to keep for your reference.
Along with enhanced knowledge you will further develop your enthusiasm and passion for Scotch whisky.
Your day will include the acclaimed 'Blend Your Own' session. You'll step into the shoes of the Master Blenders as you create your own blended whisky and take home a small bottle as a souvenir.
You'll be looked after throughout the day by the hospitality team from award-winning restaurant 'Amber', with tea and coffee breaks and a delicious lunch included in your day.
