Development and entrepreneurship in science & technology is extremely important to take India to greater heights. Technology is the savior of all hard times. Hence with the perspective of encouraging entrepreneurship in technical field, Talaash was organized.

TALAASH is an initiative of LEADers from the LEAD Program of Deshpande Foundation, and is completely handled by the students itself.

Most technical events only require the participants to present their ideas on paper, but TALAASH requires its participants to create and present a model of their technology so that judges and observers can better understand participants’ concepts, approach, and design in a practical manner.

In Talaash, Students need to apply online and the top 50 projects will be selected for the final showcasing of the prototype model of their idea. The top 15 from this showcase will be selected for the Business Model Canvas workshop, and by the end of the workshop, will have prepared their business model and will pitch it to the investors. The 3 winners will be awarded with seed funding of a total Rs. 9,00,000. Talaash even provide mentorship, Incubation support and other required support to the top 15 teams.

NOTE: NO EQUITY WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE WINNING TEAM
