Cyber IQ is delighted to announce that the 11th annual Cyber Defence and Network Security (CDANS) conference will be in taking place in London Bridge on 25th and 26th January 2017. As the opening of the UK’s newly formed National Cyber Security Center in London is announced, the attention given to improving cyber defence at a national level is beginning to increase globally. In the face of threats and attacks that are continually growing in their sophistication and damage, the need for a cooperative discussion around cyber security across the government, military and law enforcement, is required in order to start trying to find the forefront of this uphill battle. Highlights for 2017 include:

Understanding how the Bundeswehr will be launching their new 13,500 strong Cyber and Information branch in 2017
Briefings from the UK MoD on the new Defence Cyber Aptitude Test (DCAT) and how the use of the ‘Cyber Reserve’ will help close the cyber skills gap
Sessions from the Royal Navy and the FBI, dedicated to how they are currently improving their cyber threat awareness
Examining how international cooperation can be promoted using the European Defence Agency’s Cyber Defence Policy Framework as an example
