What exactly are Distruptive Innovation and how does it affect the future?
Let's us take a look on what are the current technology that have already happen in the world right now. 
Smartphone - phone were only able to make calls & messages back then but now it had turned to a super computer with the help from the apps. This turned a phone to a smartphone which give a us the ability to listen to music, watching videos, play games, surfing internet & anything that you could think of you name it they will have it.
Uber & Grab - Are 2 of the apps that had distrupted the whole taxi/cab industry, and have changed our way of flapping for cab with just a few press on our smartphone to book a ride. It also changed the norm by taking on a ride from a private owned car for exchange of money, this became on what we know as sharing economy/ access economy.
Airbnb - Is another app that had a function of sharing economy/access economy where it allow us to rent out houses to people in the exchange of money.
E-Commerce - Since the start of E-Commerce, from (Business to Business) B2B to (Business to Customers) B2C, it has already involved to (Customers to Customers) C2C, where it allow customers to sell to customers. In recent years, it had changed to (Customers to Business) C2B where individual customers offer to sell products and services to companies who are prepared to purchase them. 
Mobile Commerce - Through the involving of mobilephone, E-Commerce has gradually changed to mobile commerce. Purchasing or selling through Smartphone make it a distruptive technology to the traditional retail stores.
Tesla - Autocar wasn't possible in the past, but Tesla make it possible. Expect more of the autocar on the road in future.
