2nd edition of SURIMEP 2017, will be held on 1 – 3 November 2017. The event is organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Suriname in partnership with AME Trade Ltd and will take place at the Chamber of Commerce of Paramaribo, Suriname. SURIMEP will feature three days of conference sessions, pre-event training, post event touristic and industry tours, as well as a packed social program.
The main theme of SURIMEP 2017 is “Optimising resource industry linkages to catalyse Suriname’s economic development”
More than 350 delegates, 25 sponsors and 45 exhibitors attended the Conference and Exhibition from 24 countries participated in the inaugural event. The event was opened by His Excellency Jim HOK, Minister of Natural Resources and was closed by His Excellency Robert AMEERALI, Vice President, of the Republic of Suriname. The event was a regional event attracting delegations from French Guyana, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago
