Retaining Talent: The Future of Work
Date: | 08-Feb-17 to 08-Feb-17 |
Location: | Westminster City Hall / London / United Kingdom |
Category: | Banking, Finance & Investment Conferences & Trade Fairs |
The issue of agile working and providing the opportunity for staff to continue to be valued employees after maternity leave or whilst they cope with caring responsibilities has become more and more important.
Westminster Business Council will be holding a panel discussion on best practice policy, gathering examples of how businesses can support their staff.
We are currently carrying out a survey to understand employee’s experiences with Flexible Work. We will encourage good audience participation and as a result from our research and the event, shall be producing a white paper.
Join us for great a discussion as we explore the best ways to support staff.
Confirmed Speakers
James Clarry, Head of Lending & Capital Management, Private Banking. James is responsible for developing and delivering Coutts’ Lending proposition to clients. James took on this newly created role in June 2015, having previously been General Counsel for the Wealth division of RBS since September 2011. James was shortlisted for the ‘Champion for Women’ award earlier in 2016. He will be giving us the business benefits of Flexible Work and how companies can benefit from this.
Hayley Sudbury, CEO of WERKIN, will be sharing her expertise in the area of Flexible Work. WERKIN’s technology accelerates inclusivity and retention in the workplace by challenging the social and cultural barriers at the heart of the diversity talent pipeline debate.
An LGBT+ entrepreneur and former Barclays executive, she actively mentors young women into STEM careers. Hayley regularly speaks on topics such as organisational change, and using tech to enhance talent retention, most recently for the BBC, SVC2UK and Ladies That UX. Her entrepreneurial flair has been recognised by the Courvoisier Future 500 Entrepreneurs.
