Open Day: Morley College London's Higher National Diploma Launch

Date: 18-May-17 to 18-May-17
Location: Morley College London / London / United Kingdom
Category: Education

A HND is a work related or vocational qualification which is the equivalent to the first two years of a degree. They focus on helping you to develop the higher level practical skills that you will need to work in a specific industry.

Our HNDs are taught by staff that are both industry specialists and academics. They will help you to develop these skills meaning that you will be ready to go straight into work once you have completed the course. Alternatively if you are interested in going on to university, they are also recognised as a route into degree programmes. The second year of an HND programme is approximately equivalent to year two of a degree so you may be able to progress to the third year of a degree once completed. As well as developing practical work related skills you will also learn the academic skills that will help you to succeed at university including research skills and higher level study skills.

Interested in applying for one of our HNDs? Browse the full list of courses and click ‘register your interest', we will then get in touch and provide more information on the course, how to apply and who you can speak to at our Open Day for further support.

Come along to the College on Thursday 18th May to meet our expert staff and look at our facilities including our science lab, music recording studio and fashion studios and gain information on the application process and finance. For further information on the funding available please visit https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/overview.
