In Part II of this free CPE/CLE/CE course, we will
1. complete our review how to prepare and file an Offers in Compromise, and
2. discuss how to handle a Collection Due Process case from final notice through trial.
Although a tax professional can attend Part I as a stand-alone seminar, it is part of the A & A Tax Controversy series.
The goal of each component of the series is to
A. Teach best practices for tax professionals interested in tax controversy/representation,
B. Prepare for the 2018 USTC Exam
Each seminar and the series are free!
Tax Professionals that attend the seminar and/or the series are encouraged to accept a pro bono tax controversy case assignments from Rutgers Law School, a Low Income Tax Clinic, VITA, an ABA-sponsored Tax Court Pro Bono program and/or Taxpayers Assistance Corporation
